Safety Inspection (SP)
Commercial vehicles over 3.5 t gross weight, buses and trailers over 10 t must undergo a regular safety inspection in addition to the MOT test. We carry out the SP directly at our inspection station.
What Is Checked During the SP?
The safety inspection specifically examines safety-relevant components such as the braking system, steering, tyres, axles, chassis and coupling devices. This ensures your commercial vehicle remains safe to operate at all times.
The SP complements the MOT test on the prescribed schedule and is confirmed with an SP sticker on the vehicle.
